NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A ROAD AND CANCEL THE DEDICATION OF THE ROAD
(Pursuant to Sections 40 and 94 of the Community Charter)
TAKE NOTICE that City of Delta (“Delta”) intends to stop up, close and cancel the dedication as highway of that approximately 0.795 hectares of road (River Road) situated north of 7831 Vantage Way near Huston Road and River Way as shown outlined in bold and identified as “Road To Be Closed Lot 1” on Reference Plan EPP128988 accompanying this Notice (the “Subject Property”). This portion of River Road was created by Plan 78010.
Bylaw cited as River Road Closure and Cancellation Bylaw No. 8310, 2023 (“Bylaw 8310”), will result in the Subject Property ceasing to be a public highway and title shall be vested in the City of Delta.
THIS NOTICE IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE ONLY. IT IS NOT AN OFFER TO TRANSFER, LEASE OR GRANT ASSISTANCE TO ANOTHER PARTY.
