A pedestrian is suffering serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning, May 19, in Pitt Meadows.

Police and fire responded to a report of a multiple vehicle incident, which turned out to involve a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the westbound lane of Lougheed Highway at about 9:30 a.m.

Traffic is down to one lane as police remain on scene, causing congestion back to Old Dewdney Trunk Road.
