COUNCIL CONSIDERATION OF BYLAWS – MARCH 18, 2024

Notice is hereby given that Delta City Council will consider giving first, second, and third readings to the bylaw referenced below at its Regular Meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024 in the Council Chamber, Delta City Hall, 4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent, Delta, BC.

Bylaw No. 8377 (File No. LU009663)

Location: 4989 Bridge Street and 4905, 4909 and 4915 Elliot Street

Applicant: McGregor Wark, Headwater Living Inc.

Proposal: Application to amend Comprehensive Development Zone No. 25 (CDZ25) in “Delta Zoning Bylaw No. 7600, 2017” as follows:

• Remove the maximum unit density of 128 to allow the flexibility of adding additional dwelling units. The current proposal would increase the density to 131 dwelling units; and

• Allow for up to 41% of the total required residential parking spaces and up to 43% of the total required residential visitor parking spaces to be provided as small car parking spaces.

This bylaw is consistent with Delta’s Official Community Plan.
