For his fifth birthday, a Vancouver-based English bulldog got to see parts of the Lower Mainland some only dream of seeing, along with his owner and best friend.
The dog, who goes by the name of Mister Bentley, got to sit in the passenger seat of his owner Bradley Friesen’s helicopter, as the two recorded the trip sightseeing through the mountains.
In the video, Friesen sings happy birthday to his “little 40-lb. adventure buddy,” as the pair fly over the north end of Pitt Lake.
The best part? It’s a tie, between Mister Bentley “fist-bumping" on command, and Friesen’s birthday hat not fitting in the small cockpit.
And Mister Bentley does more than just keep Friesen company in the air.
Check out the bulldog tobogganing in some of B.C.’s backcountry – just in case you need ten minutes more of him in your life.
