On Monday February 7, 2022 at 8:05 pm heaven gained the heart and soul of the Ewen family.
Dwayne Vernon Ewen was born June 4, 1937 in Kelvington Sask. to parents Eva and John Ewen.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Ida in 1996 and recently by companion Doreen in 2021.
Dwayne was a man of many traits. Known as "old-school", timeless, kind, meticulous, "magyver like", tender hearted, humorous, respectful, humble, handsome, proud, cheeky, and overall stoic. He was a role model to his family and a mentor to many.
Dwayne is survived by daughter Jo-Ann (Dave) Granddaughter Nicole, Great Granddaughters Alexandria (Ryan) and Arianna (Nate). Grandson Craig (Jenn) Great Granddaughter Juliet. Also survived by daughter Louise (James) Granddaughter Chelsea (Richard) Great Granddaughter Isabella, and Granddaughter Cassie (Colby) and only son John (Brenda) and Granddaughter Jenna.
Dwayne is also survived by sisters Gloria, Dee and families, as well as long time friends Peggy and Gord.
