It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden & shocking passing of my mother at her home residence in Langley BC. Predeceased by her husband Terry Easton (2000), & her son Jay Easton (2015).
Dee is survived by her daughter Dayna & son in law Dan Hansen. Her grandchildren Jessica, Joanna, & Scott. Great grandchildren Dominic & Chanelle. Her two brothers Bill (Joan), & Ross
(Susan). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, & her loyal dog Max.
Dee was quite the lady & one of the most intelligent people anyone could meet. She excelled at everything in her life. From her younger years playing baseball, her dynamic careers of working for Corning Glass, to computer programming, to becoming a talent booker in Vancouver for CBC, & then working for the federal government at the Surrey Tax Center untill she retired.
Dee filled her retirement days with her loves of church, her time spent at Harrison Hot Springs, her music, singing, & art groups, to seeking out all the treasures at thrift stores & all the different volunteering she enjoyed for both people & animals.
Dee was called to heaven far too soon as there was so much more that she hadn't accomplished yet. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her but we will always hang on to the wonderful memories that we'll have forever.
Rest peacefully with Dad & Jay Mom, until we meet again. At her request no formal funeral will be held.
A small celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
