Notice is hereby given that Delta City Council will hold a Public Hearing to receive representations from any persons who deem it in their interest to address Council regarding the following proposed projects. A Council meeting is scheduled to immediately follow this Public Hearing in the event Council wishes to give further consideration to the proposed projects.

1. Proposed Parking Requirements for Purpose-Built Rental Apartments

To add to Delta Zoning Bylaw No. 7600, 2017” a parking rate of 1.0 space per dwelling unit for apartment buildings, secured as rental in tenure.

2. Proposed Parking Reduction for Developments near Scott Road

To amend Section of 8.4.4. of Delta Zoning Bylaw No. 7600, 2017” by increasing the reduction applied to the minimum parking supply requirement from 15 percent to 20 percent, where the subject site is within 125 m of Scott Road.

3. Apartment Visitor Parking

To reduce the visitor parking rate to 0.1 spaces per unit

for all apartment developments.

Materials related to the projects such as the staff report, proposed bylaw, detailed maps and other information may be inspected at Delta City Hall, 4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent, Delta, BC, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. from Thursday, December 1, 2022 to Monday, December 12, 2022. Materials may also be viewed at www.delta.ca/publichearing.

To be included in the Agenda, correspondence must be received before 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022.
