Many sick kids will have their wishes come true thanks to the good folks at Talize in North Delta.
Talize recently wrapped up a successful cloud fundraising campaign benefiting the Children’s Wish Foundation, raising a total of $25,000.
The North Delta store, the only one in B.C., raised $6,600, more than any of the company’s other seven locations. As a result, Talize North Delta had the honour of inviting Children’s Wish representatives for a special cheque presentation at the store on Friday, Sept. 30.
Established in 1984, the Children’s Wish Foundation helps Canadian children, families and communities by granting the favourite wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, and Talize has contributed over $1.3 million to the foundation since the company’s inception in 2005.
