Port Mann Bridge reopens after closure for ice clearing

Highway 1 was closed in both directions for 20-40 minutes.



The Port Mann Bridge is now open to traffic in both directions following a temporary shut down of 20 minutes so crews could clear ice accumulation from the cables.

The bridge closed at approximately 10 a.m.

TI Corp. said anyone stuck on the Port Mann Bridge during Thursday’s closure will not be charged and that tolls will be refunded automatically.
