Nothing warms body and soul on a rainy afternoon quite like a warm, home-cooked meal, but not everyone has the luxury of packing a hot lunch to warm them up mid-day.

That’s precisely why Platinum Pizza & Curry’s tiffin service has become one of Surrey’s biggest success stories.

“We take our food very seriously and ensure that our customers are getting exceptional taste and quality every time,” says Ramandeep Kang, owner of Platinum Pizza & Curry. “Our tiffin service is unique in the Lower Mainland and offers the best price for students, union members and office workers alike.”

For less than $12 a meal with a monthly subscription – $9 for the vegetarian option and around $10 for the non-vegetarian option – Kang’s clients are getting a full, traditional Indian meal delivered straight to their door or in some cases, their office and job site.

“Our tiffin services have become increasingly popular with unions and hot lunch programs at both schools and offices,” Kang says. “Many of our clients end up with leftovers at the end of the day and I think that really speaks to the dollar value of our services. We’re providing not only a delicious meal solution but a plentiful one as well.”

Platinum Pizza & Curry offers daily deliveries, Sunday through Friday, throughout Surrey, White Rock, Delta, Ladner, Abbotsford, Vancouver, Richmond, New Westminster, Burnaby and Langley.

Each meal features a vegetarian or meat-based curry, a lentil dish, eight rotis (Indian flat bread) or rice and a salad, plus a bonus Indian-style dessert once a week on Fridays. They also offer affordable catering solutions for special holiday events, gatherings and weddings but if you’re hoping to book them for your coming holiday party, Kang suggests booking early.

“We often book up quickly come November as everyone starts planning their holiday celebrations,” Kang says. “So if you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to get a head of the rush and reach out sooner rather then later.”
