Police are investigating a “suspicious death” after a body was found in a vehicle in Newton on Sunday morning.
The Surrey RCMP and Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) are on the case to “determine the circumstances of the death and if criminality was a factor,” Surrey RCMP Const. Parmbir Kahlon said.
Mounties were called to the 12100-block of 62 Avenue about a “suspicious vehicle,” she said. “Upon attendance, police located deceased person in the vehicle.”
