Surrey Mounties are looking for a 47-year-old man who has outstanding arrest warrants.

Back on June 12 Timothy Dale Bornyk failed to attend court for his scheduled trial and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to Surrey RCMP.

“Despite police efforts, Timothy Bornyk has not been located,” an online news release says.

“If you see Timothy Bornyk, do not approach him, call 911.”

He’s wanted for two counts of assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a conveyance, failure to stop, flight from police and five counts of breach of release order.

Charges stem from an incident that happened in Surrey in November 2021, police say.

Bornyk is described as six feet tall and 181 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and a tribal tattoo on his right forearm.

Call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 if you can help locate Bornyk, or contact Crime Stoppers if you want to remain anonymous (1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca).
