Members of the Sunshine Hills Community Facebook group raised $3,835 in just a few short weeks in support of Deltassist’s Christmas programs.

Thirty-five local businesses and neighbours contributed over 60 items for an online silent auction, and the group contracted Mike’s Critters to hold an interactive and educational Zoom show on Oct. 29 that was viewed by over 30 “links.”

“It was so fun to see the looks on kids’ faces! They were so engaged,” said Sharon Poetker, one of the event’s organizers.
