It’s the holiday season in North Delta, and many homes have decked the halls with LED lights, inflatable Christmas characters and even a screening of classic Christmas shows.
Doug Chang’s home at the corner of 118th Street and 91st Avenue (11804 91st Ave.) is a perennial holiday favourite, with oversized characters and an outdoor theatre.

The North Delta Reporter found some other decorated homes during an evening drive through the community.
The home at 7777 Stamford Pl. put a big focus on Santa, with an animatronic St. Nick in a chair and a jolly old elf riding in a Frosty hot air balloon, but there was no shortage of snowmen either, including one that crooned Christmas standards.
Decorations at 7894 108th St., on the other hand, took a more traditional approach to the Christmas season, with an angel and the words “peace on earth” and “believe” spelled out in lights. The home also featured a miniature Santa’s workshop, a pen of light-up reindeer and a Christmas carousel.
Do you know of homes in your neighbourhood that are bursting with holiday cheer? Send us a photo and the address and we’ll add it to this year’s map of Christmas lights. Who knows? You might just see your home in a future issue of the North Delta Reporter.
