Last month, Delta Foundation board members Walt Hayward and Richard Shantz presented a $5,000 cheque to Marcie Mark and Kirsten Hamaoki of the Hillside Boys and Girls Club in support of the club’s Active Living Program.
According to a press release, the program includes a wide range of activities that support the objectives of increasing physical activity and promoting fitness, participation and the development of the social and interpersonal skills that help children develop healthy patterns of physical activity.
