Burk died on May 16,2017 after suffering a heart attack at home in Delta, B.C. on May 14. He had a brilliant mind along with a quick and silly wit that made us laugh. Those who really knew Burk saw his tender and compassionate heart. His thoughtful and loving gestures for family and friends will not be forgotten. His son Lee and daughter Roxanne were his greatest pride and joy. He was married to Cheryl for 40 years, and they looked forward to retiring soon on Vancouver Island, going fishing on his dream boat. Loyal, honest, honourable, and principled all describe Burk. He will be with us every day.
