The goal of Surrey’s Paratha 2 Pasta is to be a welcoming restaurant for everyone — all ages, all cultures and all flavour preferences.
To achieve this, the talented chefs (one trained in India and one trained in Australia) have created an ever-expanding menu with traditional staples like paratha, chicken tikka, burgers and pesto pasta, plus fusion cuisine like butter chicken nachos, noodle burgers and pizza rolls. At the same time, front-of-house staff carefully curate the atmosphere in the restaurant to appeal to different needs at different times of day.

8:30 a.m., the breakfast shift: Fresh Paratha 2 Pasta lattés and gur wali chai are served up hot! Those with an appetite can enjoy traditional Indian breakfast parathas stuffed with aloo, paneer, methi and other flavours, or scrambled eggs and toast.
11:30 a.m., family friendly: The colourful decor at Paratha 2 Pasta makes a statement, and helps guests feel at home. Stylish booths and tables are welcoming for families, and kids will love the robots!
“Everyone’s pretty amazed the first time they see them. We have a robot host, who guides you to your table, and we also have a robot server who brings your food to your table,” says Vishu Agarwal manager of Paratha 2 Pasta. “The robots are entertainment — they’re not meant to replace any human job — and they’re definitely cute and entertaining.”
The kids menu includes chicken strips, grilled cheese, the P2P sugar paratha and other options, as well as anything on the rest of the menu. Families also love P2P’s monster shakes, which come loaded with toppings.
4 p.m., business professional: During the day Paratha 2 Pasta keeps the music low and the atmosphere professional, making the restaurant a great place for a business meeting. Happy Hour runs from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. with great deals on some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes.
6:30 p.m., fusion: Want to impress a date, or share a meal with a friend after work? The creative chefs at Paratha 2 Pasta continue to reinvent the menu, which means there’s always something new to try. Plus with traditional favourites from Italy to India, everyone will find something they like.
9 p.m., energy: “As soon as the sun goes down, we change the atmosphere completely,” Agarwal says. “We distribute small lights to every table, the ceiling lights go off and the music volume goes up. The restaurant has more of a club style to end the day.”
Cocktails, mocktails and a party-sized beer tower elevate the energy, and shareable snacks like golgappa, shahi paneer nachos and donut rabri keep everyone nourished late into the evening.
