21 Surrey students shortlisted for $100K STEM scholarships

A student from each of Surrey’s 21 public high schools has been shortlisted for a six-figure scholarship for their achievements in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Making up 21 of the 1,500 nominees, Surrey students are in the running once again for this year’s Schulich Leader STEM scholarships, according to a release from Surrey Schools.

Ranging in amount from $100,000 to $120,000, there will be 100 recipients chosen.

For excellence in engineering, half of the recipients will receive $120,000 while the remaining will receive $100,000 for science and math.

Students shortlisted from more than 3,000 applicants include:
