The Cloverdale Skating Club is set to host figure skaters from across B.C. and the Yukon.
The club will host the “Belair Direct BC/YK Victoria Day Super Series” competition May 20 – 22 at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex.
This year Cloverdale is sending more skaters than ever to the competition.
“I am very proud that Cloverdale has a record-setting 30 local skaters competing this year,” said Chrissy Paccagnan, the president of the Cloverdale Skating Club. “After having two years of limited virtual competitions, we are looking forward to the excitement that comes with in-person competitions.”
Paccagnan is encouraging Cloverdalians to head out to the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex this weekend to support the skaters.
Three of the club’s senior skaters are pictured.
