Violet Gunderson

Born to Jack & Phyllis Keller on January 24,1921 near Duff Saskatchewan.
Vi married Clarence Gunderson on March 30, 1941. This union was blessed with 6 children; Ronald, Carol, Gloria, Donna, Rodney & David.
Vi and Clarence farmed in the Kelvington, Saskatchewan area until 1956 and then moved to Vancouver, B C. Vi worked at the Vancouver Public Library for 21 years.
She was a Member of Bethlehem Lutheran church in Vancouver and then moved to Surrey in 1979 where she became a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Predeceased by her husband Clarence, son Rodney and brothers Wilfred & Elmer. Survived by her children Ron (Pat), Carol, Gloria (Larry), Donna and David (Sandra), 12 grandchildren 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Doreen, brother Bill (Jean) along with many relatives in Saskatchewan & B.C.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a closed/private Memorial Service was held at Faith Lutheran Church on Monday, October 19th at 12 noon followed with by open burial at 2:00pm at Valley View Cemetery, 14644-72nd Ave. Surrey.
Very special thanks to Dr. Cass and his staff at Langley Hospice for the special loving care Vi received during the last two months. Donations in memory of Vi can be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour Ministries or Langley Hospice.
