Stephen 'Steve' Sedlack
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Sedlack, 87, who left us peacefully on June 5th at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Stephen 'Steve' Sedlack was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba to George and Mary Sedlacek. After a long career with the Royal Bank of Canada, starting at the age of 18, Steve experienced transfers to many branches which allowed him to travel with family, climbing to the positions of Manager and ultimately Independent Business Accounts Manager at the main branch in Vancouver. Steve was an avid Hockey fan and loved roses. A favourite retirement pastime was creating cement cast planters, fountains and garden figures.

Having his children in Prince Rupert, Victoria and Montreal, to name a few of the towns lived in, North Delta and the Surrey were his last residences where he made friends at Church and Chartwell Imperial Place.

Steve will be greatly missed by his partner Barbara Burwell and is survived by his daughters Sherri (Frank) Hakkaart, Paula (Wayne) Stripp, grandchildren Dr. Krystal Hakkaart (Andre Roberge), Kassandra Hakkaart, Stephanie (Nolan) Pladson and Luke Stripp, as well as great grandchildren Briella & Nate Pladson. Steve was predeceased by his son Stephen 'Mark' Sedlack and survived by former spouse Joan Sedlack.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the COPD Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
