October 12, 1949 - February 25, 2021
Linda Adele Stadey passed away peacefully at home, in the presence of her family, on February 25, 2021. Lovingly remembered by Barry (her husband of 50 years); her children Russell, Christopher and Amanda; grandchild Margaret Giles; sisters Sandra Hulko (Alan) and Sheila Pearson (John).
She was predeceased by her parents Patricia and Andrew Russell; her siblings Jeanine Russell, Sylvia Speak and Murray Russell. Linda will be sorely missed by relatives and friends.
Linda was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on October 12, 1949. After graduating she became a school teacher in Upsala, ON where she met Barry Stadey. She moved to BC in 1996, settling in Delta in 2010.
Linda was an active member of Crossroads United Church. She was involved with many church activities notably singing in the choir, part of the Reflections group, and Chair of the Ministry and Personnel Committee.
Her dedication to community and helping the less fortunate was served during her long career at the United Way.
