January 11, 1928 - October 16, 2020
Anne was born in Victoria and raised in Vancouver, B.C. by her mother (Dorothy Robinson) along with her two older sisters, Robin and Mary.
She married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Hetherington a few years after graduating. They moved to Vernon, B.C. where they had two sons, Lee and Glen. Five years later they moved to Surrey, B.C. where they spent the rest of their lives.
Anne worked as a secretary in Surrey elementary schools during that time. She was a wonderful mother and always an energetic and sunshiny person. She enjoyed gardening and all things to do with nature. She loved to sing.
She was passionate about the performing arts and was involved with theater groups and several choirs. Anne had a genuine zest for life and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She finally passed away after living years with dementia. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Suncreek Village Care Home for their care and support given our mother over the years.
