Stephen Borgen, 27, may be in the Surrey Lake Park area

UPDATE: Stephen Borgen has been located and is safe.

Surrey RCMP and Surrey Search and Rescue are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man who they believe may be in distress.

On Thursday, Jan. 9, at 3 p.m., police received a call saying that Stephen Borgen, 27, may be in distress, but his exact location was not provided. RCMP believe he may be in the Surrey Lake Park area, in the 7500-block of 152 Street.

RCMP is concerned for Borgen’s well-being, and are being assisted in their search by Surrey Search and Rescue.

Borgen is described as a 5’11” Caucasian man, with a heavy build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who many have information on Borgen’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
