Surrey RCMP is reissuing its request to the public for help in locating Naseem Mohammed, who they say is a member of the Brother’s Keepers gang.
Mohammed, 22, is wanted on multiple warrants of arrest, including being unlawfully at large, resisting/obstructing police, breach of release order and driving while prohibited, according to a release from Surrey RCMP Corporal Vanessa Munn Wednesday (May 19).
She said Mohammed is associated to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict and “has a history of involvement with drug trafficking in the Lower Mainland.”
Munn added he has been a target of violence in the past, and “as such, the public should be aware that they may be at risk if associating with this individual.
In January, according to the release, Surrey RCMP received information that Mohammed had “illegally entered the United States,” but his current whereabouts are unknown.
Police describe Mohammed as Somalian, about five-foot-five, with a slender build, black hair and brown eyes.
Surrey RCMP say people should call 911 immediately if they see Mohammed, adding to not approach or apprehend him as “he is considered to be armed and dangerous.”

This isn’t the first time police have issued a public request looking for Mohammed.

Back in November, Surrey RCMP issued that Mohammed was wanted for the same warrants. Another released was issued in July.
Meantime, the Vancouver Police Department and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit have issued separate releases, identifying men they say are dangerous and put those around them at risk.
On Monday (May 17), VPD identified Garinder Deo, 35, Harjit Deo, 38, Barinder Dhaliwal, 38, Meninder Dhaliwal, 28, Ekene Anigbo, 22, and Damion Ryan, 41.

On Tuesday (May 18), CFSEU identified 11 men thought to be involved in current gang conflicts with brazen public shootings seen in recent weeks.
Three of the men – Barinder and Meninder Dhaliwal and Damion Ryan, 41 – were identified earlier this week as being on the Vancouver Police’s “targeted” gangsters list.
The eight newly identified men are Shakiel Basra, 26, Albert Dario, 26, Samroop and Sumdish Gill, Amarpreet and Ravinder Samra, Joseph Whitlock, 28 and Min Zin, 21.

“We believe these six gangsters pose a significant risk to the safety of the public,” said VPD Chief Adam Palmer. “We’re also working very closely with CFS EU, the RCMP and other police agencies and I anticipate that you will see photos released from other agencies in short order for public safety purposes regionally.”
This comes as Crime Stoppers is set to received $200,000 from the province for its “Guns and Gangs” tip-line campaign to encourage people with information that can help police fight ongoing gang violence to report anonymously.
