Surrey RCMP is looking for witnesses to a traffic crash in Newton on Saturday that left a woman, 58, with life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking witnesses to call 604-599-0502. They say the driver of the Acura CSX sedan, a 64-year-old man, was not injured and is cooperating with investigators.

The crash happened at 152nd Street and 68th Avenue.

“Investigators do not believe speed or impairment to be factors in the collision,” Sergeant Chad Greig said.

Police are particularly hoping to hear from someone with dash-cam video footage of the crash.
