Sex assault suspect sought

Surrey Mounties have released a picture of a man they believe might have been involved in an alleged sex assault

Surrey RCMP have released an image of a suspect in an alleged sex assault.

On May 2, at at about 8:30 p.m., Surrey Mounties were called to a report of a sexual assault at a gas station in the 7100-block of King George Boulevard.

A man allegedly made inappropriate comments toward a woman, then touched her in a sexual manner, when she was near the front counter of the gas station.

The store clerk asked the man to leave.

On Monday, police released a screen shot of video surveillance in hopes of identifying the suspect.

He is described as a Caucasian male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’8”, clean-shaven, with short dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, white shoes and socks, and dark sunglasses on his head.

His associate is described as a Caucasian male, in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a grey tank top, black shorts, black hat, white shoes, and a goatee.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or go to www.solvecrime.ca.
