SURREY — Canada Post says it is investigating a Surrey road rage video involving a Canada Post worker that is going viral on Facebook.

“We continue to investigate this incident,” Phil Legault of Canada Post media relations said in an email to the Now-Leader on Tuesday afternoon. “We take this very seriously and we are taking appropriate action.

(Warning, video contains language not suitable for some viewers.)

“The behaviour in the video is obviously unacceptable and does not reflect our employees who are working hard to deliver the holidays,” Legault added. “As this is a personnel issue, we cannot comment further.”

Jessica Ashlee Thomson uploaded the video to her Facebook page on Monday. It shows a Canada Post worker weaving through traffic before pulling up alongside Thomson.

“Postal worker, you’re not going to have a job for long,” said Thomson.

“I’m gonna have my job forever, HA HA HA HA,” said the postal worker emphatically, laughing.

As of late Tuesday afternoon, the video had been seen more than 318,000 times.
