A 22-year-old Abbotsford man died when a motorcycle and a pickup truck crashed in Aldergrove in the 26800-block of Fraser Highway on Tuesday night, Sept. 17, police said.

One witness, who asked not to be identified, told the Langley Advance Times the rider was knocked off his bike and landed against a fence by the side of the road.
He was "very badly injured" the witness said.
"He was breathing shallow."
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
RCMP were notified of a serious motor vehicle collision around 5:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the scene along with Township of Langley Fire Department and BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).
The initial investigation has indicated the driver of a Dodge pickup was stopped in the centre lane of Fraser Highway waiting to complete a left turn to head east. A motorcycle, travelling west on Fraser collided with the front of the truck. Several bystanders and witnesses immediately began first aid on the driver of the motorcycle, but the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the pick-up remained on scene and was cooperating with the investigation.
Langley RCMP’s General Investigation Section (GIS) attended along with the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS).
Traffic was detoured around the crash site onto Old Yale Road till early Wednesday morning.
Anyone driving in the area around the time is asked to review any dash cam footage they might have.
