Delta police request public assistance to find stolen boat

Delta police are taking to the public to get information about a boat stolen from a North Delta home on Dec. 11.

The boat was taken in the early morning of Dec. 11 from the 8800 block of Mitchell Way. The 21-foot boat is a 2008 white Double Eagle 206 EX HT, valued at $60,000 and named “The Big Dog.”

Also missing are two grey outboard engines (a 2008 225 Yamaha and a 2008 Yamaha 9.0) and the boat trailer, a 2008 EZ Loader with the license plate UJW94C.

Police are asking anyone who noticed suspicious activity or persons around that location, or who has information about the stolen boat, to call 604-946-4411 and quote file # 17-27299. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
