The City of Delta is asking local businesses to contribute to the province’s fight against COVID-19.

A post on the city’s website and social media channels says the B.C. government is in need of “critical supplies” for essential service providers fighting the spread of COVID-19, including personal protective equipment, medical items and cleaning supplies.

“If you have quantities of 100 or more units for any of the items identified on the BC Critical Supplies List, we encourage all businesses to email the completed spreadsheet to esmoc.director@gov.bc.ca by April 2, 2020,” the post says.

Items on the BC Critical Supplies List include face shields, N95 masks, surgical masks, surgical masks with attached face shields, paediatric surgical masks, isolation gowns, gowns (level 2 and level 3), powder free nitrile gloves, latex free vinyl gloves, bottles of hand sanitizer, tubs and cans of disinfectant wipes, aseptic face masks with ear loop, viral swabs, significant volumes ofd bleach, and general all-purpose cleaner.

The spreadsheet can be downloaded at http://delta.ca/docs/default-source/emergency-programs-office/b-c-critical-supplies.xlsx?sfvrsn=2.
