Six people displaced following fire at North Surrey home

The house is in the 13000-block of 112A Avenue

Six people have been displaced following a fire in North Surrey Friday morning (Aug. 28).

Surrey Fire Service was called to a house fire in the 13000-block of 112A Avenue, just before noon, according to Ben Dirksen, assistant chief of operations.

He said six people were displaced due to the fire, adding three people were treated on scene by BC Ambulance Service and one person was transported to hospital.

Dirksen said the investigation is ongoing, but there was “significant” damage to the house.
