The RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called to a Newton home where two men were found dead last Wednesday evening (May 15).

Surrey RCMP were called to check on the occupants at around 9:21 p.m., in the 6100-block of 151 Street.

“The two men were known to each other and police are not looking for any other suspects at this time,” according to a news release from the RCMP Thursday.

“There is no risk to the public and this is an isolated incident. Surrey RCMP will be supporting IHIT with their investigation into this matter.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or email, ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
