Surrey police ask for public's help in identifying assault suspect

Police say the suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately five feet nine inches tall, with a heavy build. At the time, he was wearing a black hoodie, pants, and shoes.

Police in Surrey are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in connection to an assault in Cloverdale on Tuesday evening (March 11).

At around 9:11 p.m. on March 11, a man was walking in the 18800 block of 58 Avenue "when an unknown man approached him and allegedly began to threaten and assault him," police say.

During the investigation, officers obtained an image of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

Police say the suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately five feet nine inches tall, with a heavy build. At the time, he wore a black hoodie, pants, and shoes.
