Boot Scootin' Boogie gala fundraiser hosted by Making Tomorrow Better, a local non-profit organization raising funds and awareness for mental health, on Saturday, March 1 at Northview Golf Course, Surrey, with live music by country artist Dave Hartney, "a fun Country & Western dress code, live and silent auction, hearty country appetizers, more. Surrey Muse: Interdisciplinary art and literature presentation group meets on fourth Friday of each month except December (5:30-8:30 p.m.). Surrey Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has provided volunteer services and fundraising since 1947, and needs additional volunteers. “We manage the hospital gift shop, the lottery booth and hospital gift cart.
