Man charged in connection to Whalley stabbing

Adam Mann has been charged in connection to the May 26 stabbing

A man has been charged in connection to the stabbing of a woman in Whalley in May. 

Adam Mann, 40, has been charged with aggravated assault and will remain in custody until his next court appearance on June 25. 

On May 26, 2024, police in Surrey responded to a call of an "alleged assault with a weapon" in the 10200-block of City Parkway. The woman was located and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

A few days later, police sent out a news release and photo asking for help identifying the suspect.

Mann was later arrested and his first court appearance was June 17, according to Court Services Online.
