Surrey RCMP is advising the public about single-lane traffic on Crescent Road in South Surrey Sunday (April 14), after a single-vehicle collision disrupted a power line. (Anna Burns photo)

A lane is closed after a single-vehicle collision on Crescent Road in South Surrey.

Surrey RCMP announced the closure at 11 a.m. Sunday (April 14) and noted in a release the crash had disrupted a power line.

BC Hydro is on scene and Crescent Road is single-lane only between 132 Street and 136 Street, RCMP said.

Police are requesting people plan ahead, avoid the area and use alternate routes.

It is expected that single-lane traffic will remain in effect until 6 p.m.
