Come out and ‘Stick it to Cancer’ next Sunday at UBC. The Delta Kappa Epsilon Phi Alpha Fraternity is hosting their annual ‘Scott Trapp’ Stick it to Cancer Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament in support of the Canadian Cancer Society on March 18.
This is the fraternity’s fifth year hosting the charity tournament and in 2015, it was renamed in honour of fraternity brother Scott Trapp who lost his battle with cancer at a young age. The tournament has raised over $100,000.
The fraternity hopes to raise $40,000 this year to help people battling cancer all across Canada. The event will feature past and present members of the Vancouver Canucks and the Vancouver Giants as well as 32 teams duelling it out for the top spot.
