Police are looking for the vehicle that struck a 16-year-old male pedestrian near a North Delta school on Tuesday afternoon, April 22, just before 3 p.m.
Delta Police say the black vehicle failed to stop and continued driving southbound on 112 Street near Bridlington Drive, in front of Burnsview Secondary School.
"The youth male was subsequently transported to hospital with minor injuries," police said in a news release.
"The Delta Police is appealing to the driver of the vehicle to come forward and speak with investigators about the incident."
"We want to speak with witnesses to the incident. We are requesting anyone with CCTV or dash camera video of the collision or the vehicle involved to contact the investigating officer, Cst. A. Creber, at (604)946-4411 and quote file number 2025-7255."
