As the new year approaches, the City of Delta is reminding residents to ensure their dogs are licensed for 2025.
Dog licences are mandatory for all dogs six months or older in Delta, the municipality noted in a release, and early birds can take advantage of a discount until Feb. 28, 2025.
A Delta dog licence provides more than just a tag; it’s a safeguard for your pet, the city website noted.
With a current licence, your dog can be returned home more easily and often, without needing a trip to the Delta Community Animal Shelter.
As well as quicker reunification, a licence also supports the DCAS.
