“A Traditional Christmas”: Vancouver Symphony Orchestra returns to Surrey’s Bell Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, Dec. 15 with its annual concert, performed at 4 and 7:30 p.m. “The Lower Mainland’s most beloved Holiday music tradition (will) feature heartwarming music associated with Christmas, carols, and plenty of audience sing-alongs.” Info: vancouversymphony.ca.

“VSO at 100”: Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concert at Surrey’s Bell Performing Arts Centre on Jan. 9 will mark the orchestra’s 100th anniversary with a performance of the very first piece it ever performed – Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture – along with “celebrated works important in the VSO’s history.” Featured are concert host Christopher Gaze, pianist Emma Hoglund and assistant conductor William Rowson.
