• FVRL Virtual Summer Reading Club — Elspeth Bowers’s Prince Marvin Puppet Show: Now through Sept. 4; online; Hosted by Fraser Valley Regional Library. Join Elspeth and her puppets in the story of Prince Marvin, who is changed into a mouse by a wicked witch and must travel through four different stories to find the solution that restores him to his princely self. It’s a laugh a minute for all ages as the rosy-toed, rosy-nosed, starry-eyed cheese eater searches for a return to normal and learns that things work better when we work together. A settlement worker from S.U.C.C.E.S.S. can answer their questions and concerns about different services, such as employment, health, housing, settlement and more.

• From Safety to Self-Compassion: Thursdays, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Deltassist, North Delta office, 9097 120th St.; This group is for women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The group will create a safe environment for you to give voice to your story and feel validated. You will be encouraged to create your own internal and external safety. The group will cover topics like establishing boundaries, consolidating a sense of self, reflecting on the journey and cultivating a future from here on.
