• Holiday Craft Market: Nov. 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunshine Hills Elementary, 11285 Bond Blvd.; Hosted by North Delta Artisan & Gift Market (on Facebook and at ndartmarket.ca). More than 30 crafters will be selling a wide variety of items — lots of great gift ideas! Admission is by donation, with half of the funds raised going to Sunshine Hills Elementary and the other half going to the North Delta Rotary. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, and the Pork Mafia food truck will be on location too. COVID-19 protocols will be in place — proof of vaccination required and masks must be worn.

• Free Yoga Classes: various days and times; via Zoom; Deltassist is now offering five free online yoga classes each week. Registration is ongoing and you can enjoy the classes from the comfort of your home. The Yoga for Stress Relief program runs Mondays from 6-7 p.m. (Yin Yoga), Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. (Restorative Yoga) and Fridays from 10-11 a.m. (Hatha Yoga). Meanwhile, the Yoga Towards Recovery program runs Mondays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. (Wind Down Yoga) and Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 a.m. (Rise & Shine Yoga). • From Safety to Self-Compassion: Starting Nov. 18, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Deltassist, North Delta office, 9097 120th St.; This group is for women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The group will create a safe environment for you to give voice to your story and feel validated. You will be encouraged to create your own internal and external safety. The group will cover topics like establishing boundaries, consolidating a sense of self, reflecting on the journey and cultivating a future from here on. Please note that this is an in-person group and Deltassist is taking all necessary precautionary measures to ensure everyone’s safety to minimize the transmission of COVID-19. • All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre: Nov. 12, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; online; Join Burnsview Secondary’s online production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. The musical revue will feature a fantastic selection of songs from shows including Matilda, Hairspray, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, High School Musical, Jekyll and Hyde, Annie, Mary Poppins, Godspell, Waitress, Mamma Mia! and more. The performance will also showcase the talent of Burnsview’s current Musical Theatre class and bring back alumni from previous shows for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate Burnsview’s community and history, as the school is celebrating 50 years of learning in Delta this year. • Then & Now: Pandemic Life Stories: Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Nov. 14, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Genesis Theatre, 5005 45th Ave.; Then & Now: Pandemic Life Stories is a devised-theatre project created over the course of a year by the Delta Stageworks Theatre Society artist collective and featuring a cast of both professional artists and community members. From community interviews, local news events and the exploration of our own lived experiences of living through the monumental changes of this last year and a half, comes a multimedia theatrical evening of stories that follow the ups and downs, the laughs and the lows, of the lockdown life we’ve all been experiencing since March 2020.
