Talent night is coming up at Tweedy.
Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School is hosting “Tweedy’s Got Talent” Feb. 22 and the show is open to the public.
“Attendees can expect a diverse range of musical and dance acts,” Zandrea Cambronero, marketing lead for Lord Tweedsmuir’s student council, told the Cloverdale Reporter.
The show, to be held in the school’s theatre, is being 100 per cent organized and managed by Tweedsmuir students.
“This event will showcase the incredible talent and creativity of our students … including singing, dancing, and musical acts.”
There will also be a separate visual arts competition that will have artworks on display during the talent show.
Cambronero added the annual talent show is a “highly anticipated event” for everyone in Tweedy’s school community.
She said the show will “highlight the artistic achievements” of Tweedy students.
Tickets to “Tweedy’s Got Talent” are $5 and will be available at the door.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 and the show is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
