Considering the time of year and the recent gloomy, often downright cold, weather – not to mention ongoing projects such as the beach cleanup and repair work to the pier – it’s no surprise the White Rock waterfront is quieter now than during the warmer, sunnier seasons.
But it still attracts plenty of visitors – including many of the feathered variety.
Last Friday, dozens of seagulls were treated to a gourmet lunch of day-old muffins on the White Rock Promenade, served up by another frequent visitor.
