Wellden Fitness Studio is turning 1.
Gavneet Sabharwal opened Wellden—a gym and pilates centre—a year ago. Now she’s set to celebrate her first anniversary.
She plans to welcome members and non-members alike to the gym Saturday, Feb. 1 for Wellden's one-year birthday party.
“Help us celebrate one year of fitness, fun, and community,” Sabharwal wrote on Wellden’s Instagram page. “Join us for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and exciting activities.”
She noted there will be some “fun” challenge games where visitors can test their skills in an attempt to claim some “exciting” prizes
Sabharwal also plans to do some draws for “fantastic goodies.” There will also be food and drinks for all attendees.
And she’ll have some promotions available for those who attend.
“Take advantage of 15 per cent off all packages and memberships and our special three-class pack for $30 deal,” Sabharwal wrote.
There will also be a chance to meet the Wellden instructors, as they’ll all be in attendance.
And, of course, Sabharwal will be giving gym tours.
“Don’t miss this fun-filled celebration of fitness, community, and you—our amazing members and friends,” she added.
The fitness studio has grown dramatically from humble beginnings. Sabharwal went from one trainer when starting out and is now up to nine trainers and a large membership base.
Wellden is now hosting charity events, offering classes for every type of age and fitness level, and even hosting some unique classes—such as puppy yoga.
It’s been a big year for Sabharwal as she opened the business, oversaw its exponential growth in less than 12 months, and to top it off, she was nominated in 2024 for a Clovie Award.
Wellden Fitness Studio’s one-year anniversary party will be held Feb. 1 from 1 - 4 p.m.
