Vancouver Giants take to ice for pre-season

The Langley-based team will be running its roster through their paces.

The Vancouver Giants have announced their training camp roster, as they begin prepping for their next season starting Thursday, Aug. 24.

The Giants will be running a number of practices this August at the Ladner Leisure Centre in Delta. The roster of players will be broken down into three teams who will practice and compete against one another in games. All practices and games will be open to the public.

The training camp schedule is:

Thursday, August 24th

• 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. – Team #1 Practice

• 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. – Team #2 Practice

• 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. – Team #3 Practice

Friday, August 25th

• 9 to 10:30 a.m. – Team #1 vs. Team #2

• Noon to 1:30 p.m. – Team #2 vs. Team #3

• 3 to 4:30 p.m. – Team #1 vs. Team #3

Saturday, August 26th

• 9 to 10:30 a.m. – Team #2 vs. Team #3

• Noon to 1:30 p.m. – Team #1 vs. Team #3

• 3 to 4:30 p.m. – Team #1 vs. Team #2

Sunday, August 27th

• 1:00 p.m. – The Annual Quinn/Howe Top Prospect’s Game
