Marvin Dyck of Peace River, Alberta, passed away on July 23, 2017 at the age of 72. He was born on February 20, 1945 in New Westminster, British Columbia. Marvin is pre-deceased by his parents the late Jacob and Hannah Dyck, stepmother Ruth, and brothers Wayne and Alvin Dyck. He is survived by his loving wife Amy, son Steve (Janna), son Dwayne (Natasha), daughter Angela (Chad), grandchildren Makenna, Kaden, Kiersten, Jordan, Annika, Brianna, Kurt, and Nate. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Kathy), sisters Anita (Danny) and Jan (Mike), stepsister Joanne (Greg) and stepbrother Jim Steer (Irene). Marvin was a superintendent at D.M.I, retired in 2010 who enjoyed motorcycling, camping, fishing, and snowmobiling. He was a Peace River Hockey supporter and an avid vehicle enthusiast. A Celebration of Life for Marvin will be held at the Sawridge Ballroom in Peace River on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 1:00-5:00 PM. Donations can be made to Peace River Minor Hockey as expressions of sympathy. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Chapel of Memories Ltd, Peace River.
