Ernest Cyril Dau Ernest Cyril Dau (Ernie) 61 years old, of Surrey, BC passed away suddenly on August 28, 2016. Ernie was well-known for his love of vintage motorcycles and classic cars. As the Executive Director for BC Coalition of Motorcyclists, Ernie fought valiantly for the improvement of the motorcycling community’s safety and rights. He was also instrumental in the support of several local charities and organizations throughout Greater Vancouver. Ernie was member of several local motorcycle and car clubs. He was a talented upholsterer and mechanic and has a passion for working on cars/ bikes. He is remembered by his many friends; as always making time to help them with their needs before his own. Ernie was predeceased by his sister Sandra Reeves and his father Ernest Edward Dau. He is survived by his mother Pat Brown, son Jared Pearson (and mother Karen Pearson), his brother Rick Dau (and wife Louise) and his many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life as follows: Sangam Palace, 11267-125A St., Surrey, BC Saturday October 1st, 2016 7pm - 12am In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to BCCOM or AIM in Ernie’s name.
