A trio of White Rock firefighters spent last Friday adding lights to reindeer and sundry other outdoor Christmas decor, as part of efforts to help set up the annual Bright Nights in Stanley Park display.
James Davison told Peace Arch News that he, Paul Farrant and Conner McMahon travelled to Vancouver to lend a hand.
The display – with three million lights and a Christmas train – opens today (Nov. 29) and continues until Jan. 5 (except Dec. 25) . A fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, it has raised $1.4 million to help burn survivors and their families since 1998, according to information on the event website.
